So as to create a cover which was destined to be visually hanging even in thumbnail view, I needed to Express the concept of activist feminist motherhood with a straightforward, uncluttered picture. Nonetheless, I also needed the design concept to be creative and out-of-the-box, something that would increase eyebrows and intrigue. I wound up making
